Day 3 is history over here in Santa Clara! Very impressive swims coming from the former Olympians and everyone else as well. Today was my turn to swim the 200 fly. My season best was 2:09.xx from the MN masters state meet, the goal was to go under 2:06.xx and place in the top 5 (M25-29).
Everyone dropped time in the championship final, which I was part of (lane 10). I went a 2:04.38 which I'm very happy with! The bar has been set with the 400 IM and the 200 Fly for next year, and it is going to be fun to try to beat those times next spring.
Tomorrow is going to be the last day of the meet, and I will be swimming the 500 free and the 200 free. Goal times are 5:05.xx for the 500 free and 1:50.xx for the 200 free, now I will leave you with the videos of the 200 fly and the recap of Day 3.
Thanks for the support,
Jose
